This project was typical of the kind of tarmac surfacing projects we undertake on major retail sites.
Overview
Off the back of years of wear and tear, we were hired in to re-surface this car park, in turn breaking up the old surface in the process of doing so.
Job Details
We were commissioned here to re-surface the whole car park in this retail park. To do so, we had to plane off the entire car park and set about the entire re-surfacing process.
Remedial works were also involved in the process as we also had to reset the drainage and also go back over and re-do the speed bumps.
During the process and due to the nature of working in a retail site in a busy built up area, we also had to oversee and take care of the traffic management. To ensure the project was undertaken in a safe and compliant manner, we had to split the car park into 5 sections at a time.
